Starting Saturday, November 27th, 2021, Cesena will dress up for the Christmas Holiday. Santa Claus's Sightseeing Train will pass through the streets of the old town: a chance for citizens and tourists to discover the magic of Christmas in Cesena.
Piazza della Libertà, a square that is also a sort of "city salon", will be decorated with a big ice rink, operational every day until January 9th, 2022.
Original entertainment will embellish the streets, with reindeers and Santas, and will enchant everybody with light juggling and surprises.
Enlightened by warm lights, a Christmas tree 45 feet high will stand out in piazzetta Amendola. A traditional Nativity will be placed in piazza Giovanni Paolo II, in front of the Cathedral.
On holidays and Saturdays, until December 24th, you will have a chance to encounter Santa Claus in the city centre!
Finally from December 8th to 26th, inside the Foro Annonario, the Salotto degli Elfi (the Salon of the Elves) will entertain the children with creative workshops, games and performances.
Moreover, a variety of musical and cultural events will take place. And, last but not least, special guided tours organized by Cesena Tourist Office will make you discover history, art and local excellences.
