By plane

The Bologna, Rimini and Forlì airports connect Romagna to major cities across Italy and Europe via scheduled and chartered flights.

The Aeroporto Internazionale Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna is served by major international airlines, providing links between Emilia-Romagna’s capital and a number of cities around the world. 

The region's second largest airport is Rimini airport. The Aeroporto Internazionale Federico Fellini di Rimini lies just a few miles from the city centre and gives travellers access to this seaside resort's famous beaches from an array of cities around the world, particularly those outside of Europe. 

Lastly, the "Luigi Ridolfi" airport of Forlì, the closest airport to Bologna airport, counts among its destinations some of the most famous Italian and European destinations.
