The event aims to keep alive an important local tradition, namely the period known as the ‘Val di Bagno’, when, every year, the Medici family would send a trusted representative to ‘govern’ the territory.
The event will rediscover the traditions of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, which ruled this area until 1923 and whose legacy is still evident today in the historic Palazzo del Capitano on Via Fiorentina.
