DIVANETTI FOLK concert
A musical trio comprising guitar, bassoon and violin, born from the magical meeting of three friends who, after attending the same conservatoire, found themselves together one summer evening sipping a drink on a sofa in a pub.
This sparked the idea for this unique musical project, which reimagines the most famous and moving film soundtracks, creating the enchantment of a small orchestra.
They also perform pieces from the classical repertoire, perfect for creating a more intimate and gentle atmosphere.
They have a vast and ever-evolving repertoire, ranging from the soundtracks of great cinema classics (The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Amarcord and Breakfast at Tiffany’s), to animated films (Coco, Ratatouille), adventure films (Braveheart), Westerns (They Call Me Trinity, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) and even the most beloved theme tunes from TV series and programmes.
The musical show will engage the audience with its rhythm, the musicians’ energy and fun musical games!
LUCA MISSIROLI
He began playing classical guitar at the age of 7 and went on to complete a Master’s degree at the Rimini Conservatoire. He also obtained a certificate in electric guitar from the University of West London. For several years, he played and sang in a band, performing in various Italian cities.
He currently teaches guitar at several schools in the province of Forlì-Cesena and is the guitarist for ‘Brick Lane’ and ‘Divanetti Folk’.
WILMER MASSA
He began playing the violin at the age of 9, going on to complete a Master’s degree at the Cesena Conservatoire. For several years, he played with a string orchestra, both as first violin and as a soloist, performing classical repertoire. He recently decided to explore new musical genres: he took a year’s course in jazz piano and now devotes himself to rock/pop music, reinterpreted in an acoustic style.
He is currently the violinist for “Brick Lane” and “Divanetti Folk”.
RAFFAELE MALTONI
Born and raised in a family of musicians, he began playing the piano as a child before going on to qualify as a bassoonist. He then furthered his studies in music therapy, working mainly in schools and writing books and songs for children.
