Visit Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole, in collaboration with the Castrocaro Pro Loco, are pleased to announce the summer openings of the thousand-year-old Castrocaro Fortress, every Thursday evening throughout July and August 2026.
From 7.30 pm to 11.00 pm: free entry to events on the terrace and aperitifs organised by the Castrocaro Pro Loco.
The ticket office at the Historical and Archaeological Museum will be open until 10.00 pm

Conference: ‘FROM ONE DAWN TO THE NEXT: A BRIEF JOURNEY THROUGH THE UNIVERSE’
During the evening, a selection of photographs will be displayed, most of which were taken by members of the Gruppo Astrofili Forlivesi APS, arranged to ‘take’ the audience on an imaginary 24-hour journey, from one dawn to the next, to discover the wonders the sky has to offer.
This will be followed by a brief presentation of the main constellations visible during the summer months.
The ASTROFILI FORLIVESI Association is a non-profit organisation (APS) founded in 1983. Every week, members meet at the Forlì headquarters to discuss astronomical topics, keep up to date with the latest developments in astronomy and space exploration, and admire and evaluate the photographs that many members take of celestial objects.
They visit schools, clubs, associations and parishes to give ‘theoretical’ talks and, weather permitting, carry out practical observations.
Admission to the Historical and Archaeological Museum is subject to a fee
