Visit Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole, in collaboration with the Castrocaro Pro Loco, are pleased to announce the summer openings of the thousand-year-old Castrocaro Fortress, every Thursday evening throughout July and August 2026.
From 7.30 pm to 11.00 pm: free entry to events on the terrace and aperitifs organised by the Castrocaro Pro Loco.
The ticket office of the Historical and Archaeological Museum will be open until 10.00 pm

IN THE SERVICE OF FLORENCE
On the borders of the Republic of Florence, a garrison of soldiers guards Castrocaro.
Visitors ascending to the Fortress will be treated to demonstrations of historical fencing and insights into the uniforms and equipment of the 15th-century infantry in the service of Florence.
