The only excursion that combines nautical camping with a night in a refuge... incredible!
We will set off in a canoe in the early evening exploring the lake of the Ridracoli Dam, landing on a bank from which we will walk to the ancient abandoned village of Seghettina, a remote place completely surrounded by woods. After a shared picnic dinner, we will be amazed by the starry sky. We will spend the night in the hamlet's old barn, guests of the "Seghettina di Sotto" Nature Group, which for years has been preserving and preserving what remains of the ancient dwellings. Overnight accommodation will be in a dormitory in the recently renovated old barn, equipped with cots and a bathroom. In the morning, after breakfast in the shade of the centuries-old walnut tree, we will return to the starting point in our canoes.
Afterwards, for those who wish, it is also possible to visit IDRO Ecomuseo delle Acque di Ridracoli, which will be open until 7 p.m. (last admission at 6.30 p.m.)!
