An activity celebrating the beauty and properties of lavender, combining botanical discovery with manual creativity.
The guided tour will take participants through the garden's lavender grove, where they will admire the different varieties of lavender grown, each with its own distinctive characteristics, from the colour of its flowers to its unmistakable scent. Along the way, they will explore the beneficial properties of this extraordinary plant, discover its many cosmetic, therapeutic and culinary uses, and learn how lavender has deep roots in local tradition and culture.
At the end of the walk, participants will take part in a practical weaving workshop, using freshly harvested lavender from the garden. With their hands among the scented flowers, they will learn how to create lavender spindles, small but precious objects that can be used as decorations or home fragrances.
