From 6 December to 8 February 2026, Villa Franceschi is hosting an important retrospective 'Roberto De Grandis. Paintings, drawings, graphics', dedicated to Roberto De Grandis, a multifaceted artist with deep ties to the city.
Painter, illustrator, engraver, educator and graphic artist, De Grandis has been able to combine a visual language inspired by German expressionism with a marked civil and pedagogical sensitivity.
The exhibition, curated by the author's wife, son and artistic associates, traces his career, from his youthful works to those of his maturity, including paintings, drawings, graphics and editorial illustrations. Particular emphasis is given to his ethical and inclusive commitment, testified by his collaboration with the Riccione Municipality as an art educator and with the Morciano Socialisation Centre.
Exhibition hours: Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
