During the Christmas season, the medieval village of Portico di Romagna keeps alive the ancient tradition of setting up nativity scenes along the streets of the town.
Every year from 8th December 2025 to 11th January 2026, the streets, green spaces, churches and the garden of the ancient Portinari tower host evocative nativity scenes artfully created by the townspeople.
The Christmas atmosphere is then enriched even more by various entertainment shows featuring songs, music and street performers, as well as traditional culinary products (roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, polenta, fried piadina, tortelli alla lastra and traditional dessert) sold along the streets of the town.
