Parma awaits you for months full of culture, events and surprises.

Parma will also be the Italian Capital of Culture in 2021.

A decision that rewards the city and its people who have worked so hard to create a year of culture that lives up to the expectations of the country, but also tourists who will have plenty of time to appreciate this great little capital of culture. 

That culture, which as the slogan says, beats time.

Many months full of culture, events and surprises that will also extend to the territories of Destination Emilia, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia.

Precautionary measures for Coronavirus

Emilia-Romagna welcomes visitors but advises that visitors and citizens follow the health advice of the World Health Organization.

Following the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Emilia Romagna Region precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus include the reopening of museums, institutions and all other places of culture from May 18, 2020, while theatres and cinema will reopen from June 15,2020.

We recommend checking in advance with the organizers for the most up to date information on events.

Until the above date, tourists in the area must limit travel to the bare minimum.

Furthermore, any manifestation or event of any kind, events and any kind of gathering in a private or public place, even if cultural, fun, or a sporting event, held either privately or publicly have all been suspended.
