A long weekend of festivities awaits you in the heart of Galeata: Friday 3 and Saturday 4 January, the Pro Loco invites you to the event ‘Aspettando la Befana’, where you can taste the specialities of Romagna-Tuscany, such as tortelli in the pumpkin and potato slab, fried piadina and a good glass of mulled wine.
On Sunday 5 January, tradition comes alive with the Festa della Befana! The befanotti will bring the song of the Pasquella to the homes and shops of the village throughout the day. From 6 p.m., the historic centre will come alive with the parade of floats, music and sweets through the streets of the village, and, at 8 p.m., fireworks will light up Piazza Gramsci, where the party will continue with songs, DJ sets and food stands.
Following this, at 10 pm, don't miss the big Tombola at the C. Zampighi Municipal Theatre, organised by the Teodorico Association.
On Monday, 6 January, at 3 p.m., the Associazione Teodorico will organise the screening of an animated film at the Municipal Theatre, with a final delivery of stockings for all the children.
