The second part of the season, already started, will end on May 5th, 2024.
The Ferrara Jazz Club offers about 80 concerts, jam sessions, exhibitions and guided tours.
Every single event will take place in the prestigious Torrione San Giovanni, a Renaissance bastion inscribed in the list of UNESCO heritage sites and location for the cinema of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
The listening proposals are distributed over three evenings a week - from Friday to Sunday - two of which are often free for members under 30.
Scheduled for the second part of the season, prominent artists such as: Michael Formanek, Jeff Ballard, Sandy Patton, Ethan Iverson, Aaron Goldberg, Marc Copland, Bobby Watson, Joel Frahm, Mark Turner, Rachel Z, Omar Hakim, James Brandon Lewis, Tia Fuller, Gretchen Parlato, Lionel Loueke, Chris Speed, Toninho Horta and Miguel Zenon (the protagonists of American jazz); Thobias Mainhard, Tom Ollendroff, Alex Hitchcock, Benoit Dulbeq, Dejan Terzic, the French bands EYM and Noclar Nosax (the proposals of European jazz); Gabriele Cohen, Ferdinando Romano, Francesco Ponticelli, Antonio Faraò, Cristiano Calcagnile, Alessandro Lanzoni, Massimo Faraò, Roberto Ottaviano, Maria Pia De Vito, Michele Polga, Francesco Bigoni, Lorenzo Simoni, Francesco Diodati (the masters and new generations of Italian jazz ).
