SECRETA RIDRACOLI: Journey into the Giant's Tunnels

Discover the secrets of the Ridracoli dam with the "Ridracoli segreta" guided tour, a unique experience to explore hidden corners inaccessible to the public. Accompanied by an expert, you will enter the inner tunnels, where you will discover control systems and engineering techniques such as the inverted pendulum and the triangular weir. You will also have the opportunity to explore a never-before-visited tunnel and exclusive access to the damping basin, from which you will admire the dam in all its grandeur.

Visit details:
Duration: approx. 2 hours
Meeting point: dam ticket office, quarter of an hour before the starting time
Reservation required within 24 hours prior to the visit or subject to availability
Fares:
o Full price: 20€ per person, including the entrance ticket to the dam and to IDRO ecomuseum
o Family: 50€ (2 adults and 2 children under 12)
o Each additional child (6 to 12 years): 7€
o Children 0-5 years: free of charge
The price includes: guided tour, safety helmet, entrance ticket to Ridracoli dam, free entrance to IDRO ecomuseum.
Important note: the visit includes steps; therefore it is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities.
Participants: the visit is limited to a maximum of 23 adults, with no minimum number. Transportation from the ticket office to the visit site is by own means.
