Lamone Valley

Along the course of the Lamone there are several villages of great charm, where the beauty of the views is combined with the goodness of the food and wine excellences and the many activities available for the curious visitor hungry for experiences.

The Lamone river, the ancient Anemo of Pliny the Elder, originates in Tuscan territory and descends towards the plain until it flows into the Adriatic Sea.

In this valley we find Brisighella and its world-famous oil, the ancient village of Tredozio and the city of Modigliana, which still preserves intact the splendid fortress of the Guidi Counts, of which it was a fief in the Middle Ages.

Villages of historical and cultural interest, but also centres from which a rich network of roads and scenic routes unfolds that quickly lead to the mountainous slopes of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, where the beauty of the landscapes excites the eye and is an invitation to discovery.
